If folks like you would stop being so blind and selfish, you would realize that we were on the verge of losing everything. If not for the stimulus program everything in this country would be gone. It was not the best program,just like any other thing in life it had it flaws. As usual the rich got richer, but the poor man was able to stay afloat to ride this thing out. That is what was needed. You can't continue to starve the poor and not give them a bone. You will have civil unrest if you do. If you turn folks to animals, they will react like one. Let the economy tank and have a depression, and believe me all those guns you and the repubs buying, you will have to use them, because folks in today's world can't handle a great depression. Dude, we are $9 trillion in debt, and my life hasn't changed one bit. Americans are pouring millions into Haiti while our country is $9 trillion in debt. That's how blessed we are. I still eat out, and enjoy a blessed Christian life. In fact, I'm in the process of taking 1 month of "Leave without pay" because I'm blessed like that. You and others may have lost everything, but my God "always" provide for me and mine..........not the government. When I look at them $$$$ I see "In God We Trust", not in government we trust. What more does God have to do before Americans realize they should depend on God instead of government? What's my point? Put your trust in God Cee.
 



I totally agree with the comment about Bush. I was darn near 100% against his policies... but he didn't care... and he let me know it. The American people voted for him so he RULED and didn't really give two sh*ts what anybody thought about it... He "was the decider". He was absolutely right. Obama is trying to bring everyone together on every issue and that is NEVER going to happen. At some point you have to make the tough decision and NOT CARE what naysayers say... The dems had a super majority and moved at a snaaaaaiiiils pace on getting this HealthCare Bill through... Instead of them ACTING... what did they do: set off a chain of TOWN HALL MEETINGS etc... Did Bush have town hall meetings when we went to Iraq... NO. It was "we are going"... The dems deserve every road block they face as far as legislation at this point. They had total power and did nothing... smh. At the end of the day... still no healthcare and more troops overseas than before. wow.

These are my thoughts of why the Rupublicans hate high taxation: First they see the heavy taxes will hit them the hardest because what the Democrats have been trying to do over the years is to allow whomever has the most money pay the most taxes. This in turn causes a lot of politics in which they, ONE, would come out their pockets with large $. TWO, their business in which a lot of these republicans own will also be paying heavy taxes (nothing to really break them but it is the idea that they are paying more money out of their pockets). Next they feal that the majority of the wealth in taxation should come from the majority (which is the middle class and throw the poor into this relm (not the extreme poor) while the wealthy gets to keep majority of their wealth WHILE NOT HAVING TO PAY MUCH IN TAXES). FACT: Bush during the early part of his regime wanted and during Bush Sr. and Regan era wanted heavily to allow the middle and poor class to pay majority of the taxes in the U.S.A. I think that a lot of people jump to conclusions when it comes to increasing taxes becasue one we have slightly come out a recession and people in general think SAVE and SPEND CONSERVATIVELY but sometimes increasing taxes is the best policy in this case we should spend conservatively not draw any more money out of the people than needed.

If you look at most of the mess going on in our schools. Folks refuse to go vote. Our recent school board election 25% voted. After all the scandals and mess that went on in DISD and folks don't vote?

Republicans hate high taxation because it's stealing. The government enjoys stealing money from Americans who work hard. Thank God the State of Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming have enough sense not to tax the people's income. New Hampshire and Tennessee limit state income tax to dividends and interest income only, so they're doing a good job as well because most people work for a salary or wage........and that's not taxed.

The government still can't account for Billions of dollars that went missing in Iraq. The Iraq reconstruction was purposely set up to have no oversight so those mofos could still all that damn money. How can Billions of dollars just disappear in thin air. The Bush Administration and the GOP congress didn't think twice about investigating this theft.

This country won't survive with that kinda mentality. I don't have kids. Should MY property taxes pay for YOUR kids to go to school? Since I haven't wrecked my car, should the money I've paid in car insurance go to pay for YOUR car accident? The list goes on and on.
 
Another damn mistakes the Dems, particularly Pres. Obama, made was kicking poor Howard Dean to the side after the 2008 election. When Dean took over as chairman, his vision was for the Dems to fight for every state and not overlook the traditional red states. He got laughed at by even the Dems, but his vision payed off in the 2006 and 2008 election. Somebody in the Obama camp had beef with Dean and they just tossed him aside like dead weight. I bet if he was still chairman he wouldn't have let old girl sleep under the wheel in Massachusetts. Tim Kaine is off too a rough start and might be in way over his head.

The government and no other human being should be entitled to what "you" earned and worked hard for. After the defeat of Walter Mondole back in 84, the party sold their soul to Democratic Leadership Council and boys in corporate America.. Coakley, Deeds and Cornize were basically shrills of corporate wing of DLC.. The party should had invest their money into candidates that had some charmisa and know how to reach the base....

Obama made another mistake by not catering to the base and listening to insiders within the Beltway.. President Obama needs stop being like Lincoln and Clinton by govering in the center.. Instead, he should borrow script Lydon Baines Johnson and Teddy Roosvelt by being ruthless with GOP and wayward Democrats... Especially, those politicans from blue states and purple districts...

Coakley didn't make attempt go after black community whatsoever.. The Party definitely needs to improve in the area going after African-Americans voters and other ethnic groups during mid-terms elections...

Finally, the dems need fired all losing consults i.e. Bob Shrum... Obama need to reenegerize the base amd bring Dr.Howard Dean , Joe Trippi and others back into the fold..

The tax information I posted was a reply to CEE becasue he said Republs are the main ones stealing. I showed him several Dems stealing as well. I'm not sure if Nick Cage is Repub, or a Dem, but that's besides the point......he stealing too.

My main point was that all of us are suffering due to the government stealing our heard earned money. This is not constitutional, and our government has rebelled against the constitution by borrowing from foreign counties and placing us in debt. God specifically instructed us not to borrow from foreign countries because He would provide all of our resources, and He has to this day. Our government has placed caps on American companies, established unconstitutional deals with foreign countries that are forbidden, and have placed a tremendous tax burden on the American people. It's a d@mn shame we have to import BS products from foreign countries like China, when our own people should be making those products.

Doggone just look at the manufactures label and if it say “Made in Chinaâ€￾ don’t buy it. Has anyone held a gun to your head forcing you to by a product made in China or anywhere else? Perhaps, you should be expressing your concerns to the U S Manufactures that decided to move to China or Mexico. The other side is over the years U S Products has become inferior to products made in foreign countries. Case in point, you cannot compare the quality of any American made car to a Benz or BMW. Since the US purchased interest in Volvo, Jaguar, SAAB and a few others, the quality of the product has declined. As a result of this, American are purchasing more foreign made vehicles.

Who cares if Cage is stealing “so whatâ€￾ why are you so concerned about others, just do your part; obey the laws and shut up.

However, I am sure at some point in time you have cheated on something.
