Saints vs. Colts in Super Bowl? Highly unlikely

"Leader of Kings"
Ever since 1975, the playoff format has relied on teams’ regular season winning percentages to decide home field for the ever important post-season games. That was not always the case. Following the NFL-AFL merger in 1970, the realigned NFL set a predetermined post-season schedule for a four-year period based on specific divisions hosting playoff games regardless of the records of that season’s playoff teams. That explains why, in 1972, the 14-0 Miami Dolphins had to travel to Pittsburgh for the AFC championship game against the 11-3 Steelers. The format that year had the AFC Central Division champions hosting the game if they won the divisional playoff one week earlier.SOURCE

Look for Saints to rock the Vikings. Saints have two shut down corners.
This will allow them to stop Peterson.
The Vikings can't stop all three of the Saints wide out.
Reggie Bush has become the wild card.
Saints will play Colts in Miami.

I guess the Jets just dont have ANY chance Sunday then... the Colts should have put them out of their misery the last game they played...

Man, that is pretty grim news if you are a fan of either the Colts or Saints. The No.1 seeded NFC team has not won the Super Bowl since 1999. And it has been six years since an AFC team who held the No. 1 seed won the Super Bowl.

I guess that means we will have a Vikings-Jets Super Bowl then.

He forgot to add that in a 129 years (give or take) there's never been a Black President.

2 Shut down Corners :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: what have you been watching. The saints corner cant stop Rice, Berrian, and Percy.
Reggie Bush wont be that effective on sunday, maybe on punt return. If the saints gon man on sunday, it will be along day for the saints

Since when have the Saints had a "shut down" corner?! there are only 4, maybe 5, in the whole league and the Saints dont have either on their team...they might be good but definitely not "shut down"...

If they can shut down larry fitzgerald of the Cardinals they definitely can handle Rice.
I don't know who you've been watching. Rice will be taken out of the game.:lecture:

:(, Haven't you guys heard the Superbowl game for this year has been cancelled due to the fact that Ameica's Team "The Dallas Cowboys" will not be participating in the game. Futuremore all future Superbowl games are on hold until America's Team "The Dallas Cowboys" manages to get thier shyt together and play up two their Greatness!

BTW: Have I Told Ya'll Today That I Hate Ya'll.:kaioken:

Trust and believe we have two...

Ask Randy Moss and Larry Fitz...

Rice and Peterson arent the only ones that get touches on the Vikings.

Vikings run game will be key to this one...if they open that up..then I cant see how the offense can be stopped.

Dallas stopped AP.
Didn't even matter.
AP played a grind it out role for about 80 yards and some key 1st downs.
Brett and those receivers tore their arses up stacking the line for AP..

You not gonna stop everything minnesota has.
Forcing Brett to roll out ain't good either.
He will start throwing those dart's back across the field on your arse.

lmao @ you can't stop AP and Brett...

The same Cardinal team N.O. demolished sholl stopped AP and Brett..
30-17 Cards

Panthers sholl did stop them... 26-7

Simple question.

Name me one team that beat the Saints like that?...

I will say again.... This "all hands on deck" Saints team is simply the BEST in the NFL...

Minnesota need to be the ones figuring out what they will do or "try" to do to stop the Saints...

Brees and Homo are two different animals.. We "know" how to score... No way in hell will the Saints leave that many points on the field that Dallas left...

Arizona beating Minnesota in the regular season means nothing.:lecture:
Ya'll lost to Dallas 24-17.
The same Dallas that got blown out last weekend to the tune of 30 plus point's by Minnesota in case you forgot.
Ya'll also lost Tampa bay and Carolina.
Not exactly powerhouse teams.

New Orleans will lose this weekend.
Ya'll stopped Moss, ya'll stopped Fitzgerald(?).
Minnesota has more than one receiver to put the clamps down on offense.
They got 4 receivers and all of them are good PLUS AP and PLUS FARVE.

Arizona went back to being Arizona.
Dropped ball's, Kurt ducking to the turf, and no running game against a Saint's team that don't have the best run defense in the NFL.
Something the Saint's need to think about before facing AP.

Moss and Wess were the 2 New Orleans "locked" down.... and the Cards have more than just Larry....The week before it wasn't even him who had the biggest game at receiver...
Like you said.. we lost to a Dallas team FIGHTING for their lives while we were on a 13 game win streak....Not to mention we were playing with a 2nd string secondary same for the following week against Tampa...our kicker make the filed goal we win.. but if you want to think that made us look horrible go right ahead....

Before you bring up the Redskins game.. same thing we won.. but that was with a tored down secondary...

The mere fact we won and lost a few of those games fighting hard proves the strong will of this team.....

And why would you bring up Carolina when we beat them and lost to them in BETTER fashion than the Vikes did when we were resting our starters?..

"COME ON MAN"

Saints vs. Colts

Superbowl...

It's time to be realistic folks...

Oh yea Players,

the Vikes played a 17 week schedule.. Out of 16 how many AP rushed for over 100?

It don't take the "best" run defense to stop AP..... Again many including you are judging this Saints defense off of our poor play with while we were banged up..

oh well.... Im trying to help yall.... yall don't wanna listen...
