Jacked: Reggie Bush Essence Magazine Cover Controversy

My thing is this, when is it going to get to the point when Black women ask themseleves what is it that these white women are doing to get and keep these brothers. I mean, these brothers get a white woman, marry her, have kids by her and stay for ever. They get these sistas and gone with in less than a year. Some where, some how there is a problem. Someone just needs to ask the question and get a truthful answer.

Boy shut yo azz up!! :lol:

Becky wouldn't say that; that's why they get the brothers. :lol:

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Right, they would entertain his dumb ass and have him actually thinking he's making sense in the dumb shyt he's saying!! They encourage that dumb shyt!

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Now, being honest, that would be more productive than whining about the fact that he is on the cover. :lol:

It's not a difficult question...it's his choice. :lol: That has nothing to do with him being on the cover of a magazine geared toward black women discussing black love.

See the problem is folks make that question seem like it's a million dollar question. Simple question....simple answer.:lol::lol:

The real question is why does everyone have agree with it?

y"all have y'all opinions...I have mine. :noidea:

Becky might just be better at what she is doing. I mean in all honesty, Denzel has a black wife, Ice Cube has a black wife, LL has a black wife, Sameul Jackson has a black wife. These men have had their black wives for decades. Notice I didn't say years. This must mean they did and are doing what is right. Becky has not entered their house. Maye some of these bitter, gone be single womenneedto ask.

but it is a choice, his choice, which is why I don't see why there is a big deal about why he's on there. I wasn't talkin about you and your opinion(didn't even know where you stood on it), i'm talkin about the folks so bent out of shape they are writing in letters cause they feel he shouldn't be on there. Like Essence doesn't have a right to put who they want on the cover. :lol: Why are we so threatened and offended by a mag cover? If its that bad, then they should stop and find out where the problem is.

and the problem is that people don't read, the cover clearly states that Top 10 sexiest black men, there is also wording at the top that says, "Black Men". Reggie Bush on the cover clearly has nothing to do with black people being in love with black people,( since we know he is engaged to a non black woman) but being a sexy black man and being a black man. Covers don't always men they are a dedication to the issue, sometimes people pick them because they are a part of the issue that they want to stand out. CLEARLY Reggies ABS STAND OUT! :lmao: I have no problem if you or anyone else doesn't agree that he should be on the cover, its not my opinion so I don't care, I have a problem when people make assumptions and base what they think off that.

If i picked up the cover and saw that it was a Black love issue, I would say..."Reggie Bush...damn he look good, but hell he aint in Black love, da they got him on there for, but damn he sure looks tasty"....then i'd continue to read and see, Top 10 Sexy black men, and say...."Ohhhhhhh, so THATS why he's on there." Chu'ch! see how easy that was? :lol:

I quoted Cee because clearly there are people out there who are mad livid about this. There is something underlying in all that anger, what is it? Whatever it is there is where the problem lies, which goes back to what he said about asking a question and getting a truthful answer.

I didn't pick up the cover I clicked on the link which said "black love"!

But okay...well you and Cee keep reaching for that underlying hidden anger!

Let me know how that works out! :lol::lol:

I aint reaching for nothin but that issue of Essence with Reggie on it. :clap: :clap: That underlying hidden anger is not my problem nor my question, so he'll have to keep you posted on that part.

It's God's way of telling ya'll to leave them Beckys alone.
If she can't use your comb, don't bring her home. :lol:

With all the fake hair being stiched into hairstyles today, there are a whole lot of black women that can't use my comb either.:lol:

Hush up! You know good and well what I meant by that saying. :lol:

:lol:

~________~

I'm just saying Crit. :lecture: :noidea:
Right now, my comb would glide through Becky's hair more often than it will LaQuisha's hair because Becky has no stich lines to snag.
LaQuisha is the one using the hair brush now, gliding over the top.
Can't get a comb through all those obsticles. :lol:

Becky could probably use my fine tooth comb and brush a lot easier than some sistas can.

That's where you're wrong. White girls wear weaves and hair pieces, too!
