This is probably the only reason I would have worn UA's paraphernalia if I had too. I've never worn anything for UA, but I must admit it looks good seeing Ingram taking that pose......... :tup:

It's a first for Bama, and the player just happen to be black which was disaloud years ago......plus the trophy with Ingram on it looks attractive.

cool but what does it have to do with the SWAC and our school on South Jackson Street?

Geyhart didnt help his team go undefeated and he also aint play in the SEC.... You have to think it was about 3 out of conference games where Ingram didnt play more than a quarter or 2. Bama had 3 good running backs (Ingram, Upchurch, Trent Richardson).
 
Personally, I am glad a brother from Bama won it. If it had to the first, at least it was a brother.

The SEC is good but isnt that much better than the other conferences. Besides UF and Bama, all of the other SEC teams were pretty mediocre. FIU, North Texas, Chattanooga, Miss. St, Aurburn, Kentucky, S. Carolina, Arkansas aint the scariest schedule in the world.

If the Nebraska game lost the Heisman for McCoy, the Auburn game should have lost it for Ingram. 30 yards against a subpar Auburn team. 1.9 yard per carry that game.

Gerhart avg something like 180 yards a game the last 4 games of the season.

Yeah I know it's a popularity contest and it's over and done with. If I had a vote I probably would have voted for Shu. But the man asked who else deserved it.

I'm just saying...
 



Sounds like an excuse to wear your favorite school gear 'A'. Black or brown, he goes to Alabama and that's enough reason for me never to put on any Alabama crap. I'm from Mississippi and I will not wear any of those school's gear. You guys kill me with this black stuff! The heck with Ingram being a brother. :fart: ...something stinks around here!

I guess Prof Davis kinda rubbed that off on me....he would never let us wear other schools para to practice (PWC and HBCU's); only ASU stuff and if u did, he would make u take it off or flip it inside out. :nod: :lol:
 
Why does/would a grown man have to explain why he wears anything....

And I've been one for decades. And I have no intention of changing, or apologizing.

Some of y'all need to be more concerned about our people (HBCU and PWC products) walking around with their pants hanging off their arses, calling each other the "N" word, calling our sistas the "B" word and the "H" word, and causing havoc in our communities.

Hating PWCs, and the black people who go there does not make you more black. It makes you more ignorant.

Let me make it a little bit clearer. You can tell by my topic that I carefully selected my words. I think all of us have strong feelings about any PWC that discriminated against blacks don't deserve the time of day. Well, I truly believe most of us would put on a shirt of another school only if our brothers or sisters went to those schools and their faces appeared on paraphenalia which became historic in nature. That's what Ingram did and accomplished for a lot of people throughout the U.S.--- I am willing to bet there are countless numbers of people in Michigan wearing Ingram jersey's with UA on them........and don't give a dam about the school personally.

nobody said anything about hating blacks that go to PWCs...
its just that we (Bama State) are the only school i see where folks care just as much or more about another school than their own. I never seen a JSU person on here rep Ole Miss like some ASU people do Bama, never seen a FAMU person wear any FSU gear or etc
