Uh P, don't be mad at SU because when something happens concerning us it dominates the headlines. It aint our fault Pete couldn't have put yall out your misery in October. It aint our fault your Houston cousins decided to manufacture some time outs to help us get rid of Pete.

It is all you SWAC Texas schools fault. Just couldn't stay in yall's place. Do you realize even when ole JR was at SU, we didn't get Texas two-stepped in a season. If ole Johnny had of just let his former HS coach and former SU boss just win that game.......we may have given Pete an extra week to pack his things. But noooooo, Johnny wanted a winning season over helping out the man who gave him his chance to play Qb in HS. Damn ingrate.

BTW, now you understand what the rest of the folks on the board have been saying about the so called Big 3. When it concerns SU, JSU or Gram it grabs attention. Everybody else is back page news if news at all. :lol:

P~...I just hope this isn't a pregame excuse to losing the SCG, man. Cuz, O'Blade hates it when folks show their inferiority complex to everyone. Esp, someone so established.

Plus, if SU was really trying to be like that. We would've had someone snatch the mic and make the announcement right after the committee handed the SCG winner the trophy.

Trust...as always, SU is right.

Didn't nobody manufacture nothing. Can't help it your staff got lost in the game in the last few minutes of it. stu had 2 timeouts left when SU called their last timeout to freeze the kicker on the FG attempt. The ref said timeout stu but corrected it and it was announced over the PA system that stu had 2 TO's left. The clockkeeper had already taken the TO from stu's side and the way that system is you can't add it back so it was announced to correct any confusion. Instead of knelling the down, your coach should have ran a regular running play to run the clock down more before stu could utilize those TO's. On 3rd down your Qb should have stayed inbound so the clock could have ran some more since at that time stu was out of TO's.

Don't tell them that, because you know SWAC folks rather stay at home to get the first hand news on Southern's new coach than going to SCG.

Uh Fiyah, I see my smack went over your head frat. It was tongue n cheek man. We know what happened. Why you think SU hurried up and fired Pete when he got back to Baton Rouge. My post was strictly for P88.

Aint no Jags blaming the refs or TxSU. We are actually thankful that it happened exactly like it did. For a moment I thought I was going to have to go to Houston and kick Cole's arse for letting Pete off the hook. Thankfully our sideline bailed JC and us suffering Jag fans out.:D

So true....he did seem like he wanted to throw that game, especially with the boneheaded move of going for 2 when the extra point would have made it a 3 point lead.

Well I guess he figured our kicker couldn't make an extra point. Another brilliant decision to keep letting that dude kick. Certainly he will just be a punter next season.

Both coaches made some crazy decisions at times. Oh well, now I just need our folks to make the right hire.

I've personally sat through <b>58 of 80</b> total consecutive losses by PV during the 90s. I'm impervious to the word "loss." lol :emlaugh: I'll be right chere win or lose.

I WOULD say it's hard to beat the same team twice in one season, but it's not. Just ask ole 3-7 about '99. :emlaugh:
