So the BC of 2008 was not meaningful? You do know the SWAC West was not decided until the end of that game right? A SU win would have forced a tiebreak to see who went to the SCG last year. Ole PV was counting on us to win to cause that coinflip. So I guess going into the BC neither team had nothing to play for? Just asking.

Now if you had said meaningful game in December then you would be more accurate and it would be 2004 at that point.

I do find it crazy for any JSU person to post Pete's hiatus from the SCG when it took JSU from 1999 to 2007 to get back there. 2000,2001,2002,2003,2004,2005,2006. 7 seasons of not going and just making it back during the 8th season. So SU has missed it in 05,06,07,08 and 09. That is 5 seasons of missing the SCG which includes this one. Can yall count from JSU.
All this over six seasons crap is not accurate at all. Why you think they have saying this is the first 5year Sr class to not go the SCG or win a SWAC title in Pete's tenure.

Why is it crap. Pop said we aint played a meaningful game in November in over 6 years. I just corrected him. Now if you think playing for the right to rep the West was not meaningful in 08 then I will add you to the 99% of JSU fans that Bell said didn't know football.

That has nothing to do with Pete needing to be fired. He should have been let go 3 seasons ago in my opinion. But that is just me. That still don't change the fact that the 08 BC had something on the line for both SU and Gram plus ole PV as well. LOL. Those are facts.

Me wanting Pete fired has been documented for years on this board. :lol:
