Doing a split and being a little heavier than vogue magazine says you should be....:noidea:not so much.

Dancing for 15 seconds on your feet(family friendly) and you're white... not cooning.

You can't be serious! Men have been dancing with men in performances since before Sheakspeare!!! You're reaching. You that the Human Jukebox is always a class act... unless theres some ass to whoop:D

Your other question^^^: Most are(thats why SU's are usually less than 2 minutes), but dance the entire show, from drum major entrance to running of the field? How can they talk about gram? its the same thing

the last part in BCU's show was crunk....thats what gave it the edge...FAMU's show Ive seen it all season
 
I ain't even entertain what CJ said because he been on that country style of bands (IMO)....

I like precision.... obvious he likes the pictures being made on the field and all... People like that crap... I don't.....

People like precision... obvious he and some others don't... Which basically means he don't like AAMU on the field...

I know I would not travel to see no one nor two bands that bore the shat out of me though...lol

I don't think you will find any alum to say yes to that.. but a bad JSU is typically better than a good show by other bands. We started out well (MS State, Grambling, TNState, Southern) but took a SERIOUS dip in October but that coincided with our off-the-field problems. We rebounded by Homecoming and the CCC.

Jared why are you getting so sensitive... I didnt mention SU in my initial post, I didnt mention AAMU. I said I liked the show.... It entertained me. You dont like pictures.... some people dont like or get tired of seeing boxes, diamonds, squares and circles. You cant tell me somebody wouldnt remember that show before they remember an SU show.

for instance...Jared doesnt understand why some bands use quads and quints (because SU doesnt)... Jared doesnt understand why some bands have more than one dm (because SU doesnt)....Jared doesnt understand why bands have flags (because SU doesnt).. Jared doesnt care about dance routines (because SU doesnt).....Get where Im going?

thank you!!! this is band/music; its all abt preference; then to call something that your band is guilty of itself cooning is the dumbest shit i have even heard; thanks dahill for bringing up that ballet shit; hell they did that ballet shit at the buy you classic one year; talk about disgrace

I meant I don't like Watching picture drills.... I also said CJ from jump said what type of drill he liked and didn't care for..

CJ been a huge "ATL" hs band fan along with anything frmo FAMU and BCU..

All I was saying is.. I didn't take his thread as a diss to show style because he simply fits into the category of folk that like that style of show, and usually those folk don't get the show style too much...

Now CJ you didn't say you didn't like AAMU shows.. But going off of what bores you, the only reason you would like an AAMU show is because that's your school affiliation..

All that extra talk about "everybody not going to like your school" mumbo jumbo can be saved.... Because I said nothing to even warrant that...



NOW since "Smoke" brought it up: SU never cared about other folk liking what we do.... part of the reason SU is so successful at what we do is because we know who we are...

We have enough repsect for what we do already.. shat we have a whole conference and a shyt load of high schools trying to be like us... So we good for 10 life times....lol...


Again my last thread only was stating every one has different preference..

Since I ain't smack in a while...

Who in the hell even understand wtf ASU is doing on the field now a days??

Uh uh, uh uh. Somebody (Jnaut) keeps bringing up "Gram" over and over again. GRAM on the brain, huh man? "The World Famed" and don't you forget it! (I'm sure you won't coz you keep talking about "Gram").

BC looked good, sounded good. Crooked lines however, but nice show overall.

FAMU sounded real good. I agree with the post about the "overcrowdedness" on the field. But that's nothing new; I've always felt that way, even when I was married to a rattler! But Fam does have a balanced, well-blended sound. Not like "this other band" where all you can hear is brass, sounding like two house cats having sex. Yawl, yaaawl, yaaawwwlll, yaaawwwllll.

FAM, on the real. If y'all downsize a bit, y'all would be terrific. It just doesn't look clean and classy with all those people on the field, bumping into each other.

Please tell us you KNOW GSU is the "Standard" of what a band should NOT look like and what a band or some over rage wild monkeys in heat should NOT sound like?

When did aamu ever come up in my post. Matter of fact when did I
ever say I liked or cares for aU field shows? I spoke on two bands. Everything else is irrelevant to the convo. I didnt down any ban to make another ban look good. If u took offense then your bad.
