Am I the only one still getting the "free" phone?

How can you get bored with a phone?

Phones are suppose to be entertaining???

I just send and receive calls with mine.

They will always keep coming out with new phones,
and I will never get them unless this 7 year old one breaks.

Then I'll just need another one that can send and receive calls...lol..

Tony I don't use my phone to play games and such but sometimes your just sitting on the stump and you don't have a book, sometimes your at a long soccer game and your kids team is down by 8 with three qtrs to go, or your in an airport and you don't feel like pulling out your laptop. All I have to do is log onto TSPN or Facebook or MSMBC and i'm good. I can also watch TV shows like CSI Miami and Ncis and I can watch Youtube videos. Look at my local news, check the weather on the weather channel. convert lbs to oz and ft to meters.. Google directions and goodle my fav eating spot and click on the phone number and it calls it. No need for 411. Listen to music while in the airport. Man I was not a phone guy until I got this dang Iphone .

Bottom line it comes in handy when I need it. A regular phone does not do that.

Man yes and then some more things I didn't mention. Dude the wife never puts hers down...And we have two computers at home. It's just sick how much stuff you can do with these phones now..

get new phones every few months?
 
Honestly, that stuff Shaw just wrote...I'm like GOTdayum! Who wants to be with a phone like that? It's good to just shut it all down sometimes....But then again, I sit in the dark and ain't mad about it and don't watch much TV either.

Man I'm no sure people buy phones every week but they do buy the newer versions of their phones. When the 3G came out folks upgraded from the 2G. These phones aren't cheap so I would be very suprised if the adverage person is switching phones every few months. The only other reason is they lost or damaged the phone. I for one will not switch until my next upgrade. If I lose this one it's back to the blackberry I have stored in my drawer until I can get an upgrade.

I just got a new phone after MANY, MANY years of my old flip phone (that sucka had so many dings and marks on it, it was almost embarrassing to use. )

I don't know. A couple of months ago, I had to run into Southlake Mall. There was a kiosk (forgot whether it was Sprint, TMobile, etc) I stopped by there and told the guy I wanted a new face plate for my phone. (I was gon try to cover up some of those dings LOL)
The guy looked at my phone and started laughing his arse off. He was like I dont know anybody who's gonna have a face plate for that!!

Don't know what she upgraded too or what phone he had, but I have had this 6010 Nokia for 5 years and it has not dropped 1 call no matter where I am. :lol:
Ya'll done gave me a inferior tech complex.
Gonna take my nephew's advise and get a mordern phone.

No net, just more mordern.
Maybe one with a bluetoofus earpeice. :lol:

The IPhone is a beast as long as you upgraded the firmware to get the full keyboard for emailing/texting.

Otherwise it may drive you plumb crazy!!!

Well, if it works fine, there's really no problem in holding on to old phones. The phone I have now: I only got it because my key pads were worn out from all the texting I do.

Ironically, a memo from my job came out today "officially" allowing us to have camera phones on the premises - soooo, after being "counseled" for by a 3rd person last night on what's best between the 2 droids, I'ma get the HTC droid.

That's about my only need for an upgrade.
I need a full keypad cause texting on this 6010 is hell. :lol:

Gonna get one of these and be done with it.

Got everything I need for $80.

That picture is my Nokia phone I just traded in! That's the one! :nod: My new flip phone does come with my 1st camera. I haven't taken a picture yet...:lol:
