At least A&M has supremacy in .....

You sound pitiful bragging on a damn volleyball team, you muttpuppies always talking to try and prove u are good. Let the wins and championships do that for you. Like JSU we have so many championships in all sports and we have the best overall sports program for the last 3 years. U mutts will be accepted one day.
^^^^sounds personal to me...

Unless someone else has already mentioned it, please give us credit for a SWAC title in Tennis & Softball too...

Overall our athletics is not as bad as some of you all like to think or portray us...of course there is always room for improvement...

I am talking about controlling a sport not just 1 title in 5 years. Also making note of overall athletics.
Alcorn, Valley and UAPB will never win a C-cup with current expenditures. PV and TSU should dominate because of regional population. Houston's metro area population is larger than each of the entire states represented (terrible athletic administration over the years). The bayou state schools have done well ... compared to. Alabama has talent galore but they still have coaches that coach more than one sport. Forget a C-cup for them, with limited commitment. (watch the future as any JC student can now attend State or A&M for free) Looks like for a couple of years to come JSU, SU and Gram to battle it out.

Did the city ever give you guys the baseball park downtown or they going to put the field on campus. I remember they had the field on campus with the track running thru it and the brick building in left field.

Actually that gym runs down the foul line in right field. We were playing ASU one year and they had the exhaust fans running in that gym. A bird was flying around the fan and got the axe. Our right fielder was blinded by the feathers. That was the funniest thang I ever witnessed in all of my years of playing SWAC BB.

No, the city never gave us Patterson Field, the new baseball stadium will be on campus, ASU is waiting to find if the city is going give us the land (the public housing that sits across from Hornet Stadium) or will we have to buy it, ASU is ready to buy the neighborhood that sits behind that as well....The other option is to put it next to the new football stadium on the eastside of campus, ASU already owns the land and the neighborhood has already been cleared.......

talking about the land that sits under the water tower behind that car dealership and car-wash place right?

We had to run a timed 60 they had a white take off he hit the dust 6 steps into it. We had to ride to a hs track to go run it. I hit teo balls over the white line on the building it was the craziest work out i ever had but it was some fun times there

AAMU should own men's soccer....no one else has it :emlaugh:

.....and we should apologize because no one else has it??????? I remind you that it did not say "supremacy in sports that everybody has".......We own two (2) NCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS in SOCCER and we have had a successful Soccer Program for at least 35 - 40 years and one does not abandon a successful inexpensive athletic program that is counted as one of your certifying sports by the NCAA.....especially when ALL of the Athletes maintain near 4.00 averages:lecture:

I recommend that the rest of y'all get on board.....all it takes is shirts, shorts, jock and shoes.......

PEACE

Volleyball and Bowling. Valley has it in softball. J-state has the best all around athletic program. Gram has longevity in football. Southern has longevity in baseball. PV owns women's basketball.
What sport can Ala State, Alcorn, UAPB and my school TSU boast about as the perrenial favorite?
OH yeah good volleyball on TV tonight.

I don't know about that, SU and AAMU seem to be even in bowling.

Well Soccer will come down to the teams in the West as Prairie View A&M and Arkansas-Pine Bluff will battle for the Championship sunday.
