TxSU started the rounds, not JSU....just thought i'd give a lil clarity to those that base on song selections...

WOW.. excuses?!?!?!

This is the same band that had an actual "LIST" to play by in the 5th quarter... SO why is song responce so important now? Unless you are trying to follow the lead of another band.... I know with SU, that shat don't matter because what ever we play it's going to be something to deal with...

I would have to give the edge to TsU as well... Go head Blade, yall doing good over there in "H-town"... Keep working with them..

I dont know what yall are listening to, but Texas So doesnt sound good at all to me....they just need to give up ballads period. Whoever arranges for them MUST play trombone... I like their "just a friend"..... but other than that the difference is clear... JSU is just on a different level than Texas So (from these clips)

Danny...this is what I put on bandhead.org. Id rather quote my one statement rather than spend too much time on two bands I don't think is on the level of SU, no matter who got the "W" between JSt. and TSU.

TSU is killing JSt35 in music. I didn't say it was by a whole lot (like SU)...but, you can tell TSU is puting more into writing. I said before this match-up that if TSU "stays within themselves" they could get the "W". They did sometimes....sometimes they didn't. With that...JSt is/was the SAME WAY. Very hit or miss. And, when you're hit or miss, AND your arrangments are shot...why da he!! would you expect someone to just GIVE JSt a "W" just because "they'z JSt....and, JSt. gets all ties their way"?

GTFOH!

If you wanna get real...both of you still sound like HS's at times. It's just JSt. sounds more like one with their remedial arse arrangments. You can pick one song out of a bunch like you usually do every week to justify why someone else got an "L" all you want. Still doesn't negate the fact that TSU has passed Jax35 in enough aspects.

If you don't agree. Fine. DT (Blade) never has and never will ask you to agree with him. Stand on your own two feet.

Agreed...there were songs that left alot to be desired from TSU. But, it's the same thing with JSt. I just think TSU is doing a better job of being them than JSt. is of trying to be SU.

That's exactly what I got from it...

LOL@ folk saying JSU being jsu.... oh my gawd...

Both need to tighten the hell up... But TxSU is a better imitation of SU out of the two...
 



I wouldn't give a W to either...

Besides my lack of "like" for either program they don't sound that pleasing to the ear.
JSU played a few songs I could groove to and TxSU aside from the ballads (eek!) was hit or miss too.

I might give a slight and VERY slight edge to TxSU...
