LoL U still pretty salty about the loss huh? lol U only have 359 more days to relive it before gametime 2010. :emlaugh:

U'd better let that anger go man or you're gonna' stop your heart from beating. lol :argue2:

Not the Xanax huh? :emlaugh: It's that bad? The Ides too?!

:emlaugh:

U alright man. I don't give a damned what everyone else sez about ya', you're alright in my book.

Not really, if he is being recruited to play football shouldn't the football program be important... And I understand the hostility you have for Spears, if someone beat my arse like that I would pray for his demise also... Spears beat yawls’ arses like y'all owed him money...

And just for the record, that was never proven. He was never convicted of making a single major ncaa violation and what you stated would constitutes a major violation. So once again, state facts. And on a side note try to refrain from saying anything on the net that you would be willing to say to someone’s face, have some class.

Da Wrong Juan

Internet thuging..........that shit don't play with me.

You come here talking all this about Broadway just because he lost a football game. Where have you been the last few years when he won ya'll a Swac Championship?

If all you think a student athlete is looking for is the athletics part of a college education at a HBCU then you need to go check your education (if you really got one). The degree is way more important than what happens on the field of play.

In the fall of 2007, the NCAA cleared Grambling of any significant wrongdoing in a wide-ranging investigation that stretched over three football seasons.

GSU was cited for five secondary offenses, but avoided the steep penalties involving scholarships or postseason play that are typically associated with major infractions.

The NCAA determined the violations occurred within the football program in 2004-06, all during Spears’ tenure
.

Grambling's penalties are being enforced. Official football recruiting visits are being reduced from 52 to 45 and recruiting trips will be slashed by 10, from 42 to 32.

The NCAA accepted Grambling's suggested punishment, saying in correspondence that since the school's "actions in this case were substantial and meaningful, no further action should be taken in the matter."

Oh and your beloved Spears is still waiting on that trial for his wrongful termination after a judge denied his request for a pretrial ruling that the school breached his contract.

Grambling got two good coaches during two tenures. I think they made a big mistake letting him go because of one bad season, if that's the case. He had to good seasons and the third season being the "rebuilding year." I wonder what he did to loose his job, :topic:. But all-in-all you had a great coach that believed in winning and had good team discipline (which is the most important thing).

Man, your words are falling on deaf ears... Spear's name is like saying the boggie man to a little child to these fools. He humiliated all of the coaches in the SWAC, and they say that Bway is better or that we made the right decision by getting rid of him. They say you don’t miss something until its gone and damn do I miss Spears…

Since a comparison was made... Too many losses in 2006 to teams with losng records, close to 4 but Alcorn defeated us to prevent going 5-6. The most embarrassing was the loss to a 3-8 TxSU team that went 0-11 the prior year.

The program has not lost to ANY team with a losing record under B'way in three season. We're more of a consistent winner... that's why I don't miss Spears. Hopefully he'll get another shot somewhere else. Maybe it'll work out better at this next stop.
