I have only seen clips of the Boom and the Sounds of Dynomite and they looked and sounded very well.

- Energy - every band has its own style. I have never been one for exaggerated movements. Just my personal opinion.
- Walking - is in every band
- Formations - that's just charting of the drills.
- Time dance routine - at JSU we have the Jaycettes and Jack-ets (DMs). I don't want to see the band dance at all, but I understand the tradition. So, if we must have it, then keep it under a minute. I want to watch them execute drills and to hear them play. Just my opinion. As for total time for the show, that is dictated by conference, tradition, and on a week-to-week basis.

I've seen Clips that have been posted and I was at the ASU vs USM game and from what I've saw and heard every band so far has gotten off to a great start I dont know where you are coming from with this but this year seems like it was be a great year for all bands in the SWAC (as for as the start is looking)

From the clips I've seen, Alcorn and JSU are the bands that have no energy and are walking.

We actually STOP practice if ONE person LOOKS like he/she is walking!!! So you know how pissed the rest of the band will be at THAT person..

You know me better than that. You know I call out the Boom on everything. I think we (JSU) out to be the best that we can be ALL OF THE TIME. Our guys do some pitiful marching and there are plenty of walkers. That is just the truth.
But, if you think that there are no walkers among the Jukes, then you are kidding yourselves. They may be tired, in pain, or maybe even hungover, but they are in there with the rest of the best marchers of the Jukes. Just look a little more closely.

there isn't a band alive that doesn't have some people skating on marching...NONE...u either have to be blind or plain stupid to think otherwise...those same people that do it at practice, do it at the game/performance no matter how much u try to "fix it"....some of ya'll take this "pride" shat to serious :shame:...

No one from JSU can look at SU and say anyone is skating.... If you take our worse marcher and have JSU whole band to atleast do that, they will look at least 60% better...
We may have a few folk that ain't marching harder than MOST... But they are MARCHING!!!
The footage is there stupid arse... It's all of 7 minutes LOCATE a timeline where you see someone WALKING!
