With only 35 players JSU is predicted to win the East. Well TP and GR have never believed in polls and I am sure they know the prediction of who will finish frist in the East will not hold up. JSU will be extremely lucky if they win 4 ballgames this year.

Akeem Moore's football career was not headed in the direction that he wanted so in April he decided to make a change.

The can't miss prospect from Selma, Ala., as a junior in high school had verbal offers from Alabama, Memphis and Georgia Tech. But coaching changes at all three schools and a late ACT score landed the 6-foot-5, 325-pounder at Alabama A&M.

After redshirting his freshman year, Moore made the decision to transfer to Itawamba Community College to keep his dream of playing Division-I football alive.

Moore spent his only season in Normal, Ala., playing offensive line for the Bulldogs but decided things just were just not working out there.

"It was due to some difficulties about the way things were run at Alabama A&M," Moore said. "From my perspective I just couldn't see myself playing for them because it just felt more like a high school than it did a university, that's campus-wise and football-wise. I just couldn't see myself staying there period so after spring practice I talked to the coach about releasing me."

MD, your program is a joke. From looking at this statement above, it's obvious that yall have some issues to address in Normal. And if we did have only 35 players, it's 13 more than we need to whoop up on ol' Annie Mae. Yall need to get it together. Seriously (thanks, mh).

AJ, program include getting an education. AAMU require student athletes to attend classes and also pass them. Maybe if we get some recreational degrees we can get more students in the program. In the mean time we will win without those who cannot measure up to our standards. We lost an all SWAC 1st team tackle last year for not passing a class. However, like GR said we will plug in another one. Don't forget a 325lb athlete from Selma may have problems adjusting in a larger community.

At the lynch st insane asylum, one does not have a responsibility to Register for school and acctually go to class one only needs to have some gold teefees, some stanky dreds and the IQ of a can of spam.

You could be right.......maybe that article is beside the point....to an extent.

The problem is that MD is mad because JSU got a #1 vote from it's SWAC peers with only 35 players in the Spring, which isn't true, but for the sake of conversation let's just assume that it is.

The media has concluded that even a shorthanded JSU is good enough to beat the rest of the East, OR the rest of the East is so sorry, that JSU could win the division with 35 players. Either way it's really sad. :smh:

So yall need to just face it. Yall are small time. The players know it. The fans know it. The SWAC knows it. And that's something yall need to address. I posted that article as a testament to that. It concerns me when a player says something like that about a SWAC school. We all pay the price.

MD, a month ago, you said we had 36 players. So you need to change this to 36. Not 35. That extra guy could be the difference between us winning the SCG.

Since I don't remember what happened to the player that cut your total to 35, maybe someone whose memory is better than mine can tell us how I got that 35 number. There is no way JSU can win the East with a 9 game mandated schedule because you all cannot keep up with which games are important. Your team will be atleast 4 games out of first place when you all get to Normal that none of you will show up. By that time your budget will be shot, but on the positive side you own two buses so all you need is diesel fuel to get here. We will pay for your hotel expense and feed you on campus. Maybe after your whipping we can enjoy a few pound cakes and give you a two piece and bisquit and your favorite soda. We know you all like SPAM, but after a good whipping a two piece will be appropiate for all 35 team members. BTW, a can of spam cost $3.89 and a two piece cost 2.99.

MD, it doesn't matter if you know or don't know which games you should win. You still won't beat Grambling and PV. You may even lose to that other Bama school.:emlaugh:
 



JayRob, we are going to beat GSU for the first time down in that Lake hope you all will still have a ball club after your first game. By the time we play PV we will have already won the East Division. If we solved the voodoo issue by whipping SU on their homecoming, surely we can dominate JSU and the East.

Don't make me start naming a&m student ballers who failed to graduate. One was in the paper this past week. But he did come back. Others are gone after failing to make it to the next level and said screw a&m, it was like going to high school a second time. And tell your little man don't bother commenting about me not telling the truth. Maybe you can collect dues from some of these jokers. I received the 2009-2010 supporters list and some of these people names are missing.
