Man, they are jammin that KC & the Sunshine Band's "Do You Want To Go Party"!!! Memories!!! We use to jam to that and we use to blow the heck out of that song at the football games.

I'll get on my band soapbox real quick. I still don't understand why all the bands these days have to play the same ole' songs that the other plays. Too many great ole' school songs, like this one that no one is playing, for everyone to be playing the same ones. :upset:
:fart:

Alright... Got that out.

Let's play ball again!!!

Peace...

Think back everybody about 10 years ago and imagine how everybody handled rain delays differently. Today, so many folks have state of the art phones with the weather on them and they are all tracking the weather like weather men... lol The same happens with my son's baseball team. 3 years ago, a rich, insurance branch owner who was team manager, would pull out his phone and tell us all what was happening and what was coming at what rate/speed. About 3 weeks ago, practically every parent on all of the teams pulled out their phones saying the same thing. lol "we have 5 minutes before the down pour happens". And yes, 5 minutes later, we all sprinting to the car for tournament to be called with a rainout. 1 1/2 games in pool play and a refund to everyone since 2 game min was not met and no bracket play on Sunday. :shame:
Just a thought of how technology has changed our lives.

Back on Subject
As for this SWAC Tournament, I'm listening again. This is getting real complicated, if as much rain as they are talking about is still coming this weekend. Wow. This has been an excellent tournament. Pitching become more and more a factor. Could be a lot of games played back to back.
Here is another reason going to 8 teams isn't the best thing for the conference.

Oh well...

Peace...

Here we go............We have two today that are.......... "gone" fishing. Good Season UAPB and Jackson State:

They are talking about making SU and GSU play later on tonight. lol

Last game in SLC tournament started about 9:30 last night and finished shortly after midnight. Tonight's last game is not going to start earlier than 9:15. Schedule was thrown off big time thanks to a 12 inning game earlier today.

Day three is the roughest. No one has pitching at this point (well, most teams) and you are going to see four games...that's tournament baseball and this is why conference baseball tournaments are the toughest thing to work...

Alcorn 7
TxSU 1
Final

Alcorn vs TxSU tomorrow at Noon or whenever the completion of SU vs GSU allows...

Kudos Alcorn. We have consider moving you all the West in exchange for someone... Hmmmm... Excellent pitching for your 4th game.

Peace...

I was going to switch to GSU's broadcast. But, I think I'm sticking around and listen to this DJ jam it up a bit...

Remembering the ole school DJs
"It's the weekend, ladies and gentlemen." "It's out of the past with a whole lot class". "Yes, it's ole' but it's solid gold".
