I wanna do like Panthro/Panter88 and put in an early congrats to the Bama State Hornets, 2 time defending SWAC regular season champs. Congrats on making it to the NIT for the 2nd consecutive year. I am sure that y'all are proud of this accomplishment, as well you should be. We Jacksonians salute you in your NIT endeavors. Maybe one day we will go back to the NIT and beat up on some unsuspecting "would be" powerhouse program. I am behind y'all 100%. Hopefully y'all won't have to go all the way cross country to some PAC-10 school's home court. I think a game against Alabama or Auburn is in order.

Again, congrats. I salute you, TWO-TIME DEFENDING SWAC (REGULAR SEASON) CHAMPS!!!

That's the spirit, TP. I can see how Panthro felt now. It feels good to give props out early like this.

I got one question for you, tho. Who do you want JSU to play in the big dance??? As bad as this conference has been, we might be in Dayton playing NW Montana A&M or somebody. But I honestly think it's only fair that the NCAA give UConn the rematch with they so richly deserve. I think everybody in the New England states would come out to see UConn try to get revenge on the ass whooping we put on Jesus Shuttlesworth nem. But then, maybe we should whoop them Tar Heels. Just beat the Tar out of 'em. They'll just be Heels.
 
oh well, the SWAC will only get one team in post season play this year.

This ain't no rivalry dude. JSU has bust that ass 7 of the last 9 times we played. They only beat us in the 1st game because Garrison Johnson did not play. Make no mistake, if there's one team we can whoop, it's the lambs. I'm more afraid of the PV-Valley winner than them.

Dude tell your players to stop jacking up all them damn 3s and attack the basket, maybe y'all will get fouled. With Hayles and Brooks shooting from 10 feet behind the NBA 3 point line, hard to foul. We ain't as big as you, but we play bigger than you.

And I see you already done started rooting for some help. I sincerely hope y'all get to play in Alabama for the NIT. At least somewhere close.

MH, the only reason you did not get blown out Thursday is because Anderson is not a ghetto coach. He rested his starters for most of that game and let ya'll catch up. See, playing like that will pay dividends when you need to rely on your bench during tournament time.

Dude, we toyed with ya'll. Up by like 15, we subbed. If we wanted to win by 7, we would have kept our shooters in and whooped you by 30. ...like we gonna do if you make it to the finals.

TP, if Anderson has 4 starters sitting the bench for 7 minutes in the 2nd half, I'm gonna personally go down and get arrested. Bama State cut our double digit lead down to 2 only because Johnson, Griffin, Maxey and Melvin were sitting the bench the entire time. Caldwell was the only starter in and what he gone do with 4 other guys who ain't tryna look for anything offensive.

And mh, y'all got a cheap dunk at the buzzer to make sure we didn't beat y'all by 7. Caldwell went to the free throw line with 5 seconds left with JSU up by 4. He missed the 1st and made the 2nd. Jackson was screaming for them to just hold the ball. Brooks or Hayles got an uncontested dunk. We are content with the #2 seed. We can win Friday at 2:30 and chill to Saturday afternoon. Y'all gotta play Friday at 8, if you make it. We'll take the rest.

I assumed y'all were gonna get uppity and turn down the NIT. Otherwise, there will be 2 SWAC teams in the postseason. Our SWAC champions got a date with UA/AU. Y'all can be either one of them. :tup:
