First off, republicans holler, "Free market!" They claim the problem with the last 8 years of free market was greed. Except, free market and capitalism is all about greed. So free market ideas failed b/c ceo's were too greedy :retard:? We can't trust the gov't but we can't trust ceo's either b/c they lie about what they made (see Enron, Madoff and every other financial institution in NY). As someone said at least we can't vote change into the gov't. With those companies we are told by republicans, they are too big to fail, so we have to bail them out. But if ordinary americans need a bailout, we say they are looking for a handout. If you can't bail out the people of this country for their dumb decisions then don't bailout S & L's or Ford or whoever b/c they were dumb and obstinate in their business practices.

Gov't jobs are as good as any other. People don't care as long as they can pay their mortgage/rent and put food on the table. Hopefully this recession will see people continue to pay down their debt, save & build wealth.

Lastly, no one talks about something I believe is primary to our recession. There is no US manufacturing base. It is so hard to find anything made in the US with US employees is ridiculous. If I can buy American, I can help American companies and citizens, but most of our companies are american in name only. Corporate head quaters here but all their employees live in China. We pay for those low every day prices provided by Wal-mart with real jobs that provide a decent wage and good benifits. Almost nothing in their stores is made here (and that used to be their selling point.)

Dude, you are not speaking to some 2 year old, so you don't have to ask me those kind of dumb questions. Even CEO's have the rights to vote. So when their business goes under due to bad decisions made by dumb politicians, they need to vote or run for office.

It wasn't a question of your intelligence, it was merely a reply to your last statement about CEO's... It was basically a rhetorical question.. Was just making the point, we all SHOULD have the ability to become a CEO. Sorry you took it that way.. But I guess when it comes to politics, many of you on here like to attack anything that don't line up with the Democratic agenda.. and the funny thing is many of you are where you are because of anit-democratic beliefs... I don't believe any one of you in are heavily or at all dependent on the government nor inspire to depend on the government...
Lighten up, it's just a debate, nothing personal.. If most of you open your eyes and understand what the hell is going on you will see the republican and the democratic party don't give a shyt about the American people.. If any party was REALLY for the people the "other" party would have been DONE!!..

Thanks for enlightening me and others on the fact that we all SHOULD have the ability to become a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a successful company in this great democracy we live in, which seems as if that you think we didn’t know that since you keep bring it up every chance you get. If you go back and read my posts, I never once criticized anyone’s actions for trying to become a CEO, but I have been very critical of dumb politicians, which includes Republicans, Democrats, Independents and others that allow greedy CEO’s to ruin our economy.

But once again, thanks for enlightening me on something I already knew.
