You wrote a short time ago that Terry Bradshaw was a great QB because he carried the Steeler even though he had a career 51% completion percentage.
Now, when the Vikings benched Tavaris Jackson you were upset with Brad Childress even though he had a 50% completion percentage.
Why the heck does Chuck Noll get a break, but Childress does not? And why do you support average QBs?

Uh dude back then most teams ran the ball. So Qbs were not judged as harshly as they are now. Also Bradshaw performed well in the big games when he to the playoffs. Most of his ints were when the Steelers sucked as they built the team. One of the reasons Joe Gilliam had a chance to take over the team from Bradshaw.
Chuck Noll built a winning franchise from nothing. SB wins cure all. Childress has none...so he don't get a pass. But I do think TJack should get the same treatment Bradshaw and Aikman did when they first started. Neither one of them lit up the NFL in their first 3 years. Hell Jimmy Johnson drafted Steve Walsh in the supplemental draft to push Aikman.
I support Jackson getting a longer look with better coaching. Meaning an OC. He will not get that chance however. I also remind you Lienart and Young from that same draft class are on the bench. Qbs need time to develop. Everyone will not have a Matt Ryan or Joe Flacco rookie season.
