Again.....Brady had ALOT of weapons. You didn't see drops like Basket just did on Donovan with Brady WRs. Troy Brown was a play maker........Deion Branch was a playmaker in that system. They may have not been No 1 guys. But it was not all on Brady. A.Smith still ran well. So did Dillon. Nobody said you had to have superstars. You need folks to make plays. Those Philly WRs are suspect bottom line.

Exactly. That's why I was LMAO when he brought up Pittsburgh. They had the Bus and Parker and ran the ball down your throat.

They just said that Phill is 2-7 in the red zone this season. Nuff said.

Bradshaw also had the stats. Troy didn't. Noll allowed Bradshaw to throw the ball more than Jimmy Johnson did.

Also Bradshaw put the Steelers on his back on a many of games to come from behind to win. You are talking to the a lifelong Steelers fan. Ask the Cleveland Browns how it felt a few time when Bradshaw beat them in the 4th qtr.

Emmitt Smith put the Cowboys on his back along with that OL and drug their arses to the SB. Remember when Emmitt was out those 2 games on a contract dispute and the Cowboys started 0-2? Remember when the Cowboys needed Emmitt to carry them against the Giants with one arm?


Now Bradshaw wasn't accurate, but he shole could get his team down the field. The blonde bomber was allright.

They made enough plays to make it to the NFC Championship game.

As touted as the Cardinals WRs are, that team only won 9 games playing in the NFC West. Those cats are playing great in the postseason, but there were a lot of games where plays were left on the field in the regular season.

The Eagles receivers are not horrible. So far they have made almost all the plays they need to.

Nah Juke......Aikman was never a 4th qtr Qb. Bradshaw was the man. Sure he had talent. But he was a hard Qb. He was never out of the game with him on the field. I saw him lead some good comebacks. Even when Swann was hurt and Franco was tip toeing towards the sideline. Bennie Cunningham send help. LOL.

Come on JR, you can't be serious. I know he didn't have great numbers but you're acting like he was a scrub. Do I need to post YouTube clips of those Cowboys/49ers playoff battles in the 90s?

Dude, yall some youngsters. Go back and watch some NFL films. Trust me I have seen it with my own eyes.

Don't get caught up with just looking at the Hall of Fame cats on the team.

I saw Bradshaw lead the team back against the Raiders, Browns, and Dolphins in the playoffs.

Hell he did in the first SB win against the Cowboys. Swan that spectacular catch sure.....but Bradshaw answered every Dallas threat.

The second SB against Dallas after Henderson and Hegman stripped him and went for a Cowboys TD and hurt Bradshaw he came back the next series and hit Stallworth for a TD. He was a tough Qb. Sorry arse Aikman couldn't even play when it rained. Always made the excuse that the ball would slip out of his hand when they lost in bad weather. Bradshaw of course could play in any weather.

When did Aikman have to drive the Cowboys to win the games? Hell Steve Young was becoming Danny White in the 90s against the Cowboys. Emmitt was the man on those teams. Aikman just didn't make mistakes to lose games. But he was not a 4th quarter Qb. Hell, most of the time he didn't have to be since Dallas would be winning.

Montana and Elway were 4th quarter guys who drove their teams to victory in big games.

If Troy Aikman threw the ball less than Bradshaw, how in the heck are his numbers better the Blonde Bomber?

Bradshaw was a gun slinger.

The only thing Aikman was better than Bradshaw was accuracy. Explain the TDs if Bradshaw didn't throw it down the field more. Why he has so many more. Why, because Emmitt was running in those TDs.

I would not trust Aikman to lead me to a SB win with 2 minutes left in the game and I am down by 6.


On second look........Aikman ints are higher than I would have thought. He is actually much worse than Bradshaw was in my mind. LOL.

Neither set of numbers are great......except for Bradshaw's TD numbers. Notice he threw about 70 more than the great Aikman.

If we gone talk about QBs.........then I will say there is none better than what Joe Montana did. He is the G.O.A.T. in my mind as as Qb.

But he also threw 69 more interceptions than Troy. Why are you overlooking that number? I would take Troy over Bradshaw any day of the week.
