Seven Pounds





Man, this movie made about as much sense as a diet coke with an all you can eat menu!!!


Who does that? Who gives away parts of their body because they killed folk on ACCIDENT? He didnt even have a court date or nothing? was he afraid to go to jail? Did he think that he'd never get another wife?

The whole I don't wanna live anymore thing just isnt working for me - especially when in the same movie, he fall for ole girl...

And then the JellyFish and the bathtub of ICE....who the hell thinks to kill themselves but save all of the internal organs.....If all of the internal organs stayed in tact, how the hell did he die?

Clearly not his best movie....seven pounds should have been named The Eight Sick People - staring Will Smith

You must don't know that your body will deteriorate as soon as you die. You place your body in ice or ice water to perserve those organs. The jellyfish caused his body to go into shock.

Damn man...stop!!

Think about this....a gunshot could have damage his eyes. Poison would have ruined his organs.

The jellyfish was a symbolic creature in this movie. Something he feel in love with as a kid and study about (dude was an aerospace eng). Several stings from a box jelly fish cause cardiac arrest quickly.

The reason why I brought up John Q is because the boy need a heart transplant. The heart was in great condition because it was in a cold container.

Think about this - rebuilding your life after an accident. What the hell was he killing himself for? (and not just killing himself, but giving away his organs)

Symbolic to what? What audience?

That was his son....It's not that strange to think of weird ways to help your family.....All the folks in the 8 sick people, had no relation to him, outside of his brother. And if i'm not mistaken, he gave to his brother because it was brother, he didnt start planning the crazy shat till after that one

Ok man. Everybody doesn't have the same mindset as the other. So what if he gave up his organs for someone else. You saw what he did to that shelfish guy that owned that BMW. He wasn't even worthy of receiving bone marrow because of the way he treated patients in that hospital. He felt like he is doing a good deed and provide something for those kind hearted people that just happen to be less fortunate or never had a chance to experience things as simple as seeing.

Man, you give money, clothes, and time to the folks that are less fortunate and you dont do it because you are on a guilt trip about life. You do it out of love for life, not hatred of life.

He had done a good deed when he gave up a kidney or whatever to his brother. For everybody else, time and money, - then you then you could have told me that the movie was about good deeds.

That shat was about suicide and the implied reason behind it is real vauge

You can do whatever you desire to do. That was his choice. Its not like this happened in real life so why make it a big deal out of him donating his organs? It's just a movie.

Hey, the movie is produced, it's a wrap! no need to argue cause they ain't changing a word at this point. Chill and see it for what it was. Hey A, if you aren't that noble, OK. All the others are? OK.

Na, CT we aint arguing. He knows the movie in itself wasn't that great, just like i know the sub-stroies within the movie werent all horrible. We aint arguing, we just saying....

I like the attention from you though.....

I really like the movie...it made you think and also wonder if anyone done this in real life.
