Speed Demons

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

One time a car behind us blew the horn because I didn't go as soon as the light changed:shame::shame: They were fine up until then...they were even singing something..I forget. :noidea: As SOON as they heard that horn, they IMMEDIATELY turned around and started yelling!!!:shame::bawling::lol: Saying stuff like "I'll come back there and kick yo....:retard::shame:" It was too funny! Bless their hearts. I'm no example for them either!!:shame::shame:

It wasn't me, was it???? :lol:

I got three speeding tickets last year (80 in a 55, 62 in a 35, and 78 in a 55). I really don't drive any faster than most folks out here. However, in the past year I just happened to get caught slipping in situations where cops typically aren't out or posted.

I was really ticked off at the last ticket because it was on a Saturday morning at about 10:30am. I have been in Metro Atlanta for 10 years and I swear that was the first time I have ever seen any cops posted on that side of town on a weekend morning. When I went to court, the lady sitting next to me told me that the same officer got her at the same spot on a Sunday morning while she was going to church. The other two times last year were at about 9pm on a Wednesday night on I-75 (again, never saw cops post up there either, especially not that long after rush hour) and when Cobb decided to set up a speed trap around the corner from my old job. Cities and counties need revenue and they are definitely getting more aggressive about ticketing folks.

The simple answer would be to slow down, but you literally cannot drive 55mph on most of these highways out here. Hell, most of the time when I am doing about 80-90 people either blow by me like I am standing still or attempt to push me out of the way. I am already claiming that 2009 will be a better year and I will be ticket-free :tup:
