I watch it via a great DVD copy provided through a friend of mines out in Cali.
It really shows that Will Smith is striving to be one of the best actor that has ever been on the big screen.
:smh:

OK...am I the only one that can't tell what the movie is about by the commercial?
Don't play dumb, you know what I'm referring to.
Our pastor took it upon himself to tell everybody about the movie (including the ending) at church last Sunday! I ain't never seen a room full of folks that mad. Everybody was looking like, "This just came out Friday, at least wait one month and give everybody a chance to see it!". I'm not looking forward to seeing it now.

I can relate to the Pastor though. He was over anxious. Sometimes a Preacher may not have an illustration to support his point. He goes to the movies and bam! He could told his wife, baby I got it now. This movie is perfect. Wait till I preach tomorrow and breakdown this movie. It's on now!
Not trying to be funny, but your pastor couldn't read folks' faces out in the audience and tell that they didn't want to know the details of the movie. :xeye:
I'm not a pastor, but whenever I use to do announcements at church--- it was sooooo easy to see and read folks' faces when you're talking to them from the pulpit.

I saw it last weekend. I was groaning thinking this film needs to get to moving or something...then I'm crying like a 2 YO at the end. I mean boo hooing. Folks was sniffing behind me too.
Ok, I still haven't seen the movie but I did read the plot on wikipedia. Now I can really feel with that Pastor was trying to do. There are spiritual messages all throughout this movie. I will check it out when I get chance.
LOL! Sounds like you were worser than my fiance. I kept handing her napkins in the last 30 minutes or so. And especially during that Woody Harrelson scene.

Hancock- promoted wrong for what their message was.
