Our regular season ends the weekend the playoff bid's go out and we know there is absoutely NO CHANCE of us ever going with the present model the SWAC follows.
The CURRENT SWAC MODEL don't help anyone except Gram, SU, and Bamma State.
Throw UAPB and Texas Southern into that starting next year.
What would JSU get out of scheduling these school's as it stand now.
A good seed in the playoff's if we beat them.:lol:
We can go 11-0 and all JSU can do is sit back and wait 2 more week's to play the conference championship game.

I really don't know what happen to Spears, but who gives a fugg? And I do believe some folks at Grambling forced Eddie to retire. The major concern of this topic was that can Grambling beat Richmond or Montana? Look at the title of this thread dumbass. And most people on here would probably agree with me that hell no Grambling who's the SWAC 2008 conference champions couldn't beat either one of those teams.
Now how old are you or maybe you'll find an excuse for your age?
Kimble was fired for not beating anybody he had only 1 winning season his first 6-4-1 in1989.
Washington the same reasons plus he had problems beating JSU and Gram but I wouldn't say the BC was the sole reason.
Bates used to get his ass handed to him on a silver platter by Eddie.

IMHO, Broadway is part of the reason why Grambling would not beat Richmond nor Montana, which is on point with this topic.
That's on J-State, because Gram and SU sure as hell didn't. And don't plan to.

You're the one who's a retard, you say Grambling is not winning OOC games, hell no one in the SWAC is doing it so don't single out Grambling hater!
No smack...but considering how JSU stunk it up in the playoffs all those years. The SWAC probably needed to save you from yourselves. But to answer your question (from a business point of view) JSU was not making any money from the playoffs.
Not sure what the breakdown is, but there is revenue sharing from the SCG. Even the teams that don't participate in the game gets a cut.
Don't know (yet), but is more than the other 8 will get.
Probably more than any other school (in our subdivision) in the country. And more than some of these bowl games.

Like I said in my previous posts, Broadway haven't beaten a PWC at Grambling or at NCCU. His has no win against the PWC schools he has played. And both Richmond and Montana are PWCs.
Huh? Dude, did you not read my previous post about the business aspect? My point to all of this is that each school in this conference does what it has to do for itself first. JSU and Alcorn voted on the SCG as well (after they got drove year in and year out in the playoffs). You were not making any money in the playoffs. You can still have the CCC on Thanksgving week if you want.
