WOW!! This is unbelievable and ONLY after one season. Hell, at least we gave james b*ll and his staff a chance. One year is not enough to guage a coaching staff. Maybe Jones found some better coaches due to possible firings at other schools.:smh::smh:

It certainly had nothing to do with the JSU game. If anything they were given a raise for coming close to Mighty JSU. From what I saw, Alcorn lacks talent at RB and doesnt play to its strengths often enough. I didnt see anything in coaching that was strong either. They made some poor decisions in close games that affected the outcome of the game.
Small things like constantly booming the ball in the endzone when punting from inside the 50. They made a big mistake by not taking a safety in the SU game. Alcorn also wasnt conditioned well and it showed in the SU and Bama State game.
Changing the coaching staff hurts recruiting. Didnt Jones bring those guys with him from up north? Im sure he fought for them to stay at least one more year. I guess all of those white coaches didnt help Alcorn or Bama State.....oh well.
