Hampton and Norfolk State renewed their storied HBCU rivalry Saturday in the latest edition of the Battle of the Bay.
The Spartans, led by first-year head coach Michael Vick, fell to 1-5 on the season after suffering a 41-34 loss to the Pirates. Hampton improved to 2-4 on the season.
But when it comes to rivalries like these, there is another battle that is never determined by a final score, the halftime show between the two marching bands.
