TSULogo Texas SouthernHOUSTON- The Texas Southern Department of Athletics has announced that all TSU Tigers home football games will be broadcast live on KHOU’s Bounce Digital TV Network which can be accessed on digital channel 11.2 in the Houston area as well as on channel 310 on Comcast.

Four of the Tigers home football games will also be available tape delayed on Comcast SportsNet. CSN subscribers in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas will be able to tune into the CSN broadcast of TSU football. Games can be accessed on Comcast channel 39 and in high definition on Comcast channel 639.

“Having our home games broadcast is definitely a huge benefit to our football program,” said TSU head football coach Darrell Asberry. “This exposure will allow us to showcase our football team and our program in some of the largest TV markets in the country. We’re looking forward to providing all viewers of our games with an exciting brand of football.”

This season will mark the second consecutive year KHOU’s Bounce Digital TV Network will deliver TSU Tiger home football games into homes of the Greater Houston area. Nick Strong serves as the play-by-play announcer while Lemont Williams provides color commentary for the broadcast.

Comcast Sports Group consists of local sports networks that deliver 2,400 sporting events, breaking news and analysis to more than 50 million cable and satellite homes annually.

“We’re extremely excited about the partnership we’ve formed with KHOU and Comcast SportsNet for the televising of our home football games,” said TSU Director of Athletics Dr. Charles McClelland. “This partnership provides our fans and supporters with another option to watch TSU football games this upcoming season and it gives us the ability to increase our brand exposure as well as the overall visibility of our athletics program.”

TSU’s inaugural game at BBVA Compass Stadium will take place on Saturday, September 15th at 7:00 pm when the Tigers take the field against Jackson State University. KHOU’s broadcast of the opening day match-up will start at 7:05 pm CST. The Texas Southern home football games listed below will be available tape delayed on Comcast SportsNet.
