Rishard Jamell Densmore, a three-star football player who signed with Alabama State before later committing to Miles College, was fatally killed in a weekend shooting.
Al.com reported Monday that Densmore, 21, was shot at a mobile home park in Jefferson County, Alabama on Saturday
Area law enforcement indicated that Densmore was leaving the neighborhood when someone from a vehicle pulled up alongside him and fired multiple times.
The newspaper reported that a wounded Densmore, who was driving at the time, fled the scene before crashing his car along a nearby street.
The incident was apparently captured on a phone, authorities said. Densmore was taken to UAB Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
