In the 30th round of the MLB First-Year Player Draft Grambling State infielder Christopher Wolfe was taken by the Oakland Athletics Wednesday afternoon.
Wolfe, in a 167 games at Grambling, recorded a .330 batting average, 109 RBI and 83 stolen bases.
This past season, Wolfe hit .321 with 29 runs batted in to go along with 29 stolen bases (ranked No. 25 in Divison 1).
