Former groundbreaking Little League World Series heroine and Hampton softball player Mo’ne Davis will appear twice next week on a pair of ESPN KidsCast broadcasts at the Little League World Series in Williamsport.
On Sunday, Davis will be on the call for the Little League Classic between the Los Angeles Angels and the Cleveland Indians on ESPN2. Two nights later, she will be on the call for a Little League World Series game at 7:30 p,m. on ESPN.

This will mark the second summer Davis has been a part of the KidsCast presentations from the Little League World Series having called a few games during the 2019 series.
Davis became the first African-American girl to play in the Little League World Series and is the first girl to pitch a shutout and earn a win, which landed her on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
In 2015, she and members of the Anderson Monarchs Little League team played an exhibition game at Jackson State University as part of the Monarchs’ barnstorming civil rights tour.
At Hampton in 2020, Davis was third in defensive chances (77), and putouts (46) and ended with a .333 batting average and .423 on base percentage.
