Grambling State interim offensive coordinator Kendrick Nord has been removed from the coaching staff, a source confirmed with HBCU Sports on Sunday.
Nord, who previously served as the team’s passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach, only served in the offensive coordinator role for one game in the Tigers’ 48-21 loss Saturday to Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
Head coach Broderick Fobbs tabbed Nord as the team’s interim OC last week when Mark Orlando, the team’s former offensive coordinator, resigned following Grambling’s 17-10 loss to Prairie View A&M in the State Fair Classic on March 13.
The Tigers (0-3), amid a four-game losing streak dating back to last season, will travel to Huntsville to face Alabama A&M on Saturday.
I agree. Tootles!✌🏾Weekend spring break trip with potential GSU teens brought us to the game. Not real sure what the winning game plan was. Although the HBCU climate was great as always. Alumni, souvenirs, great food AND of course the GOAT; GSU Marching Band! To the kicker #30? It’s all good. We wanted to climb down and pump you up! xoxo! See you in Shreveport…KC Krew!
