When the 2018 season gets underway across the college football landscape in early September, SWAC sidelines will feature a host of new faces in leadership positions.
Vincent Dancy (Mississippi Valley State), Connell Maynor (Alabama A&M), Eric Dooley (Prairie View), Cedric Thomas (UAPB) and Donald Hill-Eley (Alabama State) will be first-year head coaches this season.
None of the newly minted coaches will be on the hot seat regardless of how their inaugural campaign ends.
Even Grambling State head coach Broderick Fobbs is practically unfireable at this point in his career after winning a national championship.
