Southern University welcomed some good news from the NCAA when the school announced Friday morning to the SU Board of Supervisors that its athletic programs will no longer be banned from the NCAA postseason.

All @SouthernU_BR programs will be evaluated by APR scores moving forward and are required to meet APR benchmarks to avoid APR penalty.

The ban, which began in December 2013, was imposed due to insufficient documentation the NCAA received from Southern related to the academic progress rates of its student athletes.
