Alcorn State University released its 2014 football schedule today hoping to continue the winning ways of the 2013 football season.
Coming off a 9-3 season last year – winning six of their last seven games – the Braves’ 12-game schedule features seven home games and a road trip to Hattiesburg, Miss. to face FBS member Southern Miss on Sept. 9.
The Braves will have home games against Virginia-Lynchburg (Aug. 30), Louisiana College (Sept. 13), Southern University (Sept. 27), Alabama State (Oct. 4), Texas Southern (Oct. 18), Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Nov. 15) and Jackson State (Nov. 22).
