The Black College Football Hall of Fame celebrated its 17th annual induction ceremony Friday night at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, honoring a distinguished Class of 2026 that reflects the legacy and impact of HBCU football.

Among those inducted were Alabama State head coach Eddie Robinson Jr. and Fort Valley State great Tyrone Poole, joining a class that also included former NFL standouts Nick Collins of Bethune-Cookman and Jimmy Smith of Jackson State. Howard University alumnus and longtime media contributor Steve Wyche was recognized for his contributions to the game, while legendary Florida A&M coach Rudy Hubbard was honored for his coaching career.

The induction ceremony remains the signature event of the Hall of Fame, bringing together former players, coaches, and contributors in a celebration of HBCU football excellence.

Here is the event from their perspective.
