HBCU GO is set to deliver a full slate of football broadcasts in 2026, with the network spotlighting marquee HBCU matchups from the opening weekend in late August through the stretch run in November.
The schedule features classic rivalries, homecoming games, and conference showdowns across multiple HBCU conferences, giving viewers a weekly showcase of Black college football.
MEAC/SWAC battle opens TV slate
The 2026 HBCU GO football calendar begins Aug. 29 with North Carolina Central facing Texas Southern at 7 p.m. ET. The schedule continues Sept. 5 with the Hope Labor Day Classic, matching Edward Waters and Jackson State at 7 p.m. ET. Early September also brings the Southern Heritage Classic, as Alcorn State meets Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. ET.
The network’s September lineup keeps the focus on conference and regional rivalries. Tennessee State is scheduled to meet Florida A&M on Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. ET, followed by South Carolina State against Bethune-Cookman on Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. ET. Those games help set the tone for a month that often shapes postseason momentum in HBCU football.
October features classics, homecoming games
October brings one of the busiest portions of the schedule, with several homecoming games featured on HBCU GO. Howard and Hampton meet in the Truth and Service Classic on Oct. 3 at 3 p.m. ET, while Florida A&M hosts Alabama State on Oct. 10 at 4 p.m. ET. Alcorn State and Prairie View A&M square off Oct. 17 at 3 p.m. ET, Arkansas-Pine Bluff visits Florida A&M on Oct. 24 at 3 p.m. ET, and Southern closes the month against Florida A&M on Oct. 31 at 3 p.m. ET.
Conference championship chase highlights final month
The November slate continues the high-profile matchups, beginning Nov. 7 with Mississippi Valley State against Jackson State at 3 p.m. ET. Alcorn State takes on Southern University on Nov. 14 at 3 p.m. ET, and Texas Southern meets Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Nov. 21 at 3 p.m. ET. Together, the late-season games give HBCU GO a strong run of content heading into the final weeks of the regular season
