The Final Four isn’t the only men’s basketball event going down in Indianapolis.

The HBCU All-Star Game, in its fifth year, will feature some of the top Black College basketball players in America on one court.

The event “honors student-athletes, coaches, and community leaders while creating powerful opportunities for visibility, connection, and inspiration, according to the event’s website.

Festivities will include community engagement events, recognition programs, and a high-energy game day that showcases the best of HBCU basketball traditions.

“We will continue honoring and celebrating the rich history, tradition, and contributions of HBCUs to the sport of college basketball,” said event founder Travis L. Williams.

When is the HBCU All-Star Game?

The game tips off on Sunday, April 5, at 1 p.m. at Corteva Coliseum inside the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Twenty-four elite players will compete under banners named in honor of two HBCU and NBA legends — Bob Dandridge and Sam Jones.
