The NCAA Board has appointed five new members to the Board of Governors’ Finance and Audit Committee, highlighted by the selection of SWAC Commissioner Dr. Charles McClelland to serve on the committee.
The NCAA Board of Governors Finance and Audit Committee is a governance body of the NCAA responsible for overseeing the organization’s finances and auditing processes.

It operates under the broader NCAA Board of Governors to ensure fiscal responsibility, review financial statements, and conduct audits to maintain financial integrity and transparency within the NCAA.
“I’m sincerely honored to be selected as a member of the NCAA Board of Governors Finance and Audit Committee,” said McClelland. “This committee plays a crucial role within the overall governance structure of the NCAA, and I couldn’t be more excited to begin serving the NCAA membership in this capacity.”
