Here are the Top 5 HBCU band halftime shows from Week 6

The Battle of the Bay between Hampton and Norfolk State was the flagship HBCU football event of Week 6.

Because Week 6 also marked the first week of October, it kicked off an annual trend many of us enjoy during this time of year: homecoming.

This week’s top 5 HBCU band halftime shows feature performances from the Battle of the Bay, a homecoming performance, and performances from the Gulf Coast Challenge, featuring Jackson State and Alabama A&M.

Below are the top five HBCU band halftime shows of Week 6.

5. South Carolina State (vs. Savannah State)
Performed at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium, Orangeburg, South Carolina

4. Alabama State (vs. Bethune-Cookman)
Performed at ASU Stadium, Montgomery, Alabama

3. Alabama A&M (vs. Jackson State)
Performed at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, Mobile, Alabama

2. Norfolk State (vs. Hampton)
Performed at Armstrong Stadium, Hampton, Virginia

1. Jackson State (vs. Alabama A&M)
