Jackson State dominated on Saturday night behind quarterback JaCobian Morgan’s electric performance.

Morgan tossed four touchdowns—two each to Shemar Savage and Ja’Naylon Dupree—and added a rushing score, powering the Tigers to a commanding 57-24 win over Alabama A&M.

Savage hauled in a 22-yard touchdown early and followed with a dazzling 60-yarder in the second quarter, while Dupree snagged scoring passes of 19 and 37 yards to help Jackson State build an overwhelming lead.

Morgan set the tone from the opening drive, guiding the Tigers to a 10-0 advantage in the first six minutes after Gerardo Baeza’s 25-yard field goal and, moments later, a sharp 22-yard strike to Savage.

By halftime, Morgan had carved up the Bulldogs’ defense, piling up 237 passing yards and three touchdowns as Jackson State jumped out to a commanding 33-10 lead.

He finished the day 21-for-30 for 314 passing yards, with another 120 yards and a touchdown rushing on just 12 carries.

The Tigers’ ground game was relentless, led by Travis Terrell Jr., who ran for 103 yards on seven carries. Jackson State ended the night with 388 rushing yards on 49 attempts, while Savage tallied 91 yards and two scores on just three receptions.

Jackson State moved to 4-1 on the season and 2-0 in SWAC play with the lopsided victory, showing once again why they’re a force in the conference.
