Howard University graduate Stan Verrett will be back talking sports sooner rather than later.
New Orleans native Verrett, who parted ways with ESPN following more than 20 years with the company earlier this year, announced Monday morning that he and former SportsCenter co-anchor Neil Everett are launching The Stan & Neil Show Tuesday Sept. 9 on the Twitch streaming platform.

Verrett and Everett hosted the wildly popular Los Angeles SportsCenter edition together until Everett’s retirement in 2023. Verrett continued to host with Linda Cohn until ESPN canceled the show this past May.
“Neil and I have shared some incredible moments over the years, and I can’t wait to bring that energy to a digital audience,” Verrett said in a statement. “We’re excited to build something from the ground up.”
