As preparation for football season continues, defending SWAC West champion Southern showed on Friday that A.W. Mumford Stadium will remain a great place to watch a game.

The refurbished A.W. Mumford stadium will see its first action Saturday, Sept. 6, when the Jaguars host SWAC East opponent Alabama State.
