The San Antonio Spurs Summer League roster will feature an HBCU basketball player.

Hampton guard Noah Farrakhan will be one of 18 players on the Spurs summer roster, the team announced.

Before joining the Pirates before the 2024-25 campaign, Farrakhan had spent a season at Big 12 Conference member West Virginia.

During his year with Hampton, the New Jersey native averaged 14.2 points per game. Farrakhan achieved this feat on efficient 43 percent field-goal shooting, the 10th-best in the Coastal Athletic Association.

He finished in double figures on 21 occasions during the 2024-25 campaign.

Farrakhan would be named the HBCU All-Stars Independent Player of the week four times throughout the season. Farrakhan also claimed another in-season award, being selected to the Cayman Islands Classic All-Tournament Team.

During the three-game stretch in the Cayman Islands, he averaged 21 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, leading Hampton to a victory over Duquesne.

With his performances on the court, Hampton finished the 2024-25 campaign above the .500 mark for the first time since the 2018-19 season. Farrakhan was also named to the All-CAA Third Team, marking the third time a Pirate received postseason conference honors since Hampton joined the league in 2022.

San Antonio will begin its summer schedule on Saturday, July 5, at the California Classic against the Miami Heat.
