Bethune-Cookman fans and supporters celebrated the baseball team’s first SWAC championship since joining the conference Sunday on a 3-run walk-off homer by Andrey Martinez.
But perhaps nobody was as visibly and audibly excited about the win as Wildcats radio broadcaster Michael Truilo, who delivered a call for the ages on the game-winning home run.
With two runners on base, Martinez took a Carson Kelly offering over the centerfield wall to give B-CU an 11-9 victory over Florida A&M to clinch a spot in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2011.

So, it is tough to fault Truilo for being as excited as he was to see Bethune-Cookman baseball’s biggest win in recent memory.
