A month after entering the transfer portal following a stellar freshman season, Howard guard Blake Harper has put an end to the speculation about his next move.
Harper is on his way to the Big East after announcing he is committing to play for the University of Creighton.
Creighton was one of four final options for the star freshman with the other options being LSU, Ohio State, or staying at Howard.

Harper recorded a MEAC-leading 19.5 points per game, 6.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in 32 games this season. He shot 45% from the field and 40% from three-point range.
In addition to being named the MEAC Rookie of the Year, the Bison star became the first freshman to ever win the MEAC Player of the Year award.
Harper made history against Virginia University-Lynchburg, becoming the first freshman in the past century to record a 30-point triple-double. He finished that contest with 30 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists.
Howard finished the season with a 12-20 record, falling short of a third straight MEAC championship after losing in the first round of the MEAC tournament against Morgan State.
