Here are the top 5 HBCU band halftime shows from Week 1

College Football season is back!

And in the realm of HBCUs, college football also means HBCU marching bands – and the halftime shows that come with it.

Here at HBCU Sports, it’s becoming customary to document what we believe are the very best halftime shows from HBCU marching bands each week.

This year will be no different.

We’ve reviewed the videos of last week’s halftime show performances and compiled a list of the top five halftime performances.

Below are the top five HBCU band halftime shows of Week 1.

5. Tennessee State (vs. Mississippi Valley State)
Performed at Nissan Stadium, Nashville, Tennessee

4. North Carolina A&T (vs. Wake Forest)
Performed at Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium, Winston-Salem, North Carolina

3. Texas Southern (vs. Prairie View A&M)
Performed at Panther Stadium, Prairie View, Texas

2. Jackson State (vs. Louisiana-Monroe)
Performed at Malone Stadium, Monroe, Louisiana

1. Florida A&M (vs. South Carolina State)
Performed at Bragg Memorial Stadium, Tallahassee, Florida
