Andrew Body is on the scoreboard for Alabama State.
With the Hornets trailing North Carolina Central in their Week 1 season opener in the Orange Blossom Classic, Body showed why he was a coveted transfer portal prize.
The former Texas Southern quarterback making his first start for the Hornets, took the snap on 3rd and 18 and raced 38-yards for a touchdown.

The score pulled the Hornets with 21-14 with 3:53 left in the third quarter.
Body appeared in just one game last season for the Tigers after suffering a shoulder injury.
In the first half, Body was 1-of-1 passing for 14 yards with 75 yards rushing on seven carries.
