Allen is coming off a season in which he led FCS in both sacks (14.5) and tackles for loss ( 28.0). A three-time Big South-OVC Defensive Player of the Week, his tackles for loss mark also set a TSU single-season program record. He also set a single-game record with the 6.5 he recorded against Lindenwood, which was part of a four-game run in which Allen recorded at least 4.0 tackles for loss.
Tennessee State defensive lineman Terrell Allen has entered the transfer portal as a grad transfer, @On3sports has learned.

The 2023 Buck Buchanan Award winner joins a Green Wave defense that ranked second in the American Athletic Conference, allowing 20.5 points per contest and allowing opponents to score 30 or more points just twice on the season.
The unit also was third in sacks with 35, forced the second most fumbles in the conference with 12, and had 17 interceptions, which paced the AAC.
