HBCU Sports has entered into a new partnership with well-known WBOK talk show host Reggie Flood to bring new episodes of his podcast, “The BigTyme Sports Show,” to its multimedia streaming channels.
Flood, celebrated for his dynamic broadcasting style and engaging approach to sports commentary, is no stranger to the HBCU sports community. He was the long-term co-host of the Jaguar Journal, a sports radio talk show dedicated to Southern University athletics.
“I’m excited to join forces with HBCU Sports. It’s an opportunity to shine more light on what’s happening at HBCUs on a platform that’s been a pillar in the HBCU community for decades,” said Flood, a Southern University alum. “This show aims to be an engaging mix of sports analysis, cultural commentary, and community-focused discussions, making it relevant to many listeners.”
HBCU Sports Founding Editor & Publisher Kenn Rashad expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership.
“My man Reggie Flood keeps it real. He’s the genuine article,” Rashad said. “His passion and insightful commentary about this space is unmatched, and having him on board is like adding a new dimension to our coverage.”
The new podcast will kick off later this week, with live episodes expected to begin next week.
