Florida A&M Director of Recruiting Devin Rispress has resigned to accept a position with the University of Colorado.
Rispress announced his departure from the Highest of Seven Hills in a post on X Thursday evening.
“As I type this, I am emotional but also excited to embark on this new journey,” he wrote.

Former Florida A&M head coach Willie Simmons, now at Duke, was very complimentary of Rispress’ work and new endeavor to Colorado head coach Deion Sanders, saying “Of all the 5 stars you’ve signed, this may be your biggest one yet.”

Rispress was hired as the Rattlers’ Director of Recruiting in 2022 following his time at the high school ranks, coaching at Tallahassee’s Rickards High and Gadsden County High in Havana, Florida He helped to spearhead Florida A&M assembling the seventh-best FCS recruiting class in both 2022 and 2023, according to 247Sports.
