Here’s the 2023 HBCU Sports preseason DI football team. See the top Black college players

As the countdown to the start of the 2023 HBCU football gets closer, it’s time to take a look at players who are projected to make the biggest impact this fall.

Returning Celebration Bowl winner and North Carolina Central quarterback Davius Richard is a clear preseason All-American having led the Eagles to its first HBCU national championship as a Division I program. But, there are other quarterbacks in position for a big season this fall, too.

A mix of veterans and underclassmen make up the HBCU preseason All-American team on the defensive side. Florida A&M linebacker Isaiah Major is primed to be the next great Rattler NFL Draft eligible player. The same goes for NC Central defensive back Khalil Baker.

Below is the complete list of the 2023 HBCU Sports Preseason Division I football team.
