The New England Patriots brought in former Jackson State defensive back Isaiah Bolden for a workout on the final day of the team’s Top 30 NFL prospect visits.
Bolden, a four-star recruit from Wesley Chapel High School in Zephyrhills, Florida, transferred to Jackson State after first playing at Florida State.

During his 26-stint at JSU, Bolden led the FCS in kickoff return average with 36.9 yards per return in 2021. While at defensive back, Bolden compiled 55 tackles. 2.5 tackles for loss, eight pass breakups, and a fumble recovery.
At JSU’s Pro Day, Bolden ran a 4.33 in the 40-yard dash, recorded a 38-inch vertical leap, and a 10-foot-9 broad jump that helped him earn a 9.44 Relative Athletic Score — the 15th best among cornerback prospects.
Though he has pro-level size at 6-foot-2 and 201 pounds, Bolden is seen as raw and needs further development to be a capable NFL cornerback. However, he can be called upon, even as a rookie, to be an effective kick returner.
Bolden is projected to be a late-round draft pick or an undrafted rookie free agent.
